Children communicate through their words, play, behaviour and actions. I take time to understand what they are telling me, including what they may find difficult to express.

Positive, trusting relationships are fundamental to emotional wellbeing. I value the connections children have with the important people in their lives.
Understanding Behaviour as Communication
Behaviour often communicates feelings and needs that children cannot put into words. I look beyond the behaviour to understand what a child may be experiencing.
Respecting Every Child's Experience
I recognise each child's individual strengths, experiences and circumstances, offering an inclusive and non-judgemental therapeutic environment.
Working Together with Families
I work collaboratively with parents, carers and professionals to develop a shared understanding of each child, keeping their needs and wellbeing at the centre.
